Freedom From Smoking ®
Freedom from Smoking is an nine week program developed by the American Lung Association.  During the nine weeks, participants learn about their personal addiction to tobacco products, how to overcome cravings, stress management, tips to prevent future relapses, and much more.  Classes are facilitated by a trained and certified instructor.  Funded by the PA Department of Health through the Family Health Council of Central Pennsylvania. 

Participants receive free nicotine replacement therapy vouchers (nicotine patch, gum and lozenges) if they wish to use any of these products to aid in the process of quitting.

Freedom from Smoking is open to the public and is FREE for all participants!

Classes are starting:

Mondays, 5:30 p.m. class starting April 12th, 2010

Tuesdays, 1:00 p.m. class starting April 20th, 2010

NICOTINE ANONYMOUS GROUP - new group now at Lebanon Family Health Services. more details below!

We are thrilled to announce the start up of a Nicotine Anonymous Program here in Lebanon County.  The Lebanon VA Medical Center is hosting a Nicotine Anonymous meeting every Monday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Building 144.  This program will begin on Monday, March 16, 2009.  This group is open to the public.  You do not have to be a veteran to participate.

The primary purpose of Nicotine Anonymous is to help all those who would like to cease using tobacco and nicotine products in any form. The fellowship offers group support and recovery using the 12 Steps as adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous to achieve abstinence from nicotine.  There are no dues or fees for Nicotine Anonymous membership.

NEW NICOTINE ANONYMOUS GROUP @ LEBANON FAMILY HEALTH SERVICES

This program welcomes all those who seek freedom from nicotine addiction, including those who are using a cessation program and/or nicotine withdrawal aids and those who would like continued support.

Support & recovery is based on the 12 step program adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).
