Healthy Woman Program (Women ages 40 - 64)
As a woman gets older, her risk of getting cancer increases. Preventative health care is the best protection against cancer. The Healthy Woman Program is designed to encourage and assist women to receive free preventative health screenings. In addition, individuals who qualify for the program and are diagnosed with cancer may also qualify for the course of cancer treatments (Funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health).
Eligibility: Women ages 40 – 64 who are 250% of poverty level or below as defined by Federal Poverty Guidelines
Services include:
- Gynecological exams
- Pap smears
- Breast exams
- Hemoglobin
- Urinalysis
- Weight & blood pressure screening
- Hemocult
- Referrals for mammograms, colposcopies and biopsies
