WIC

WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a supplemental nutrition program for low to mid income families.  WIC provides supplemental nutritious food, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and referrals for pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children under age 5.  WIC currently serves approximately 3,000 people every month in Lebanon County.  Every dollar invested in WIC saves the taxpayer about $3.00 in future costs.  WIC is an equal opportunity provider.  This project is funded under contract with the PA Dept. of Health using funds provided by USDA.

Eligibility:  Pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum and children from birth to five years of age who have been determined to have a nutritional risk (poor eating habits, obesity, or underweight) and meet income guidelines.
