Breastfeeding Peer Outreach

Women who had positive breastfeeding experiences are trained and certified to encourage, support, and educate pregnant and breastfeeding moms about the benefits of breastfeeding.  Information is provided at WIC appointments and through a series of telephone contacts after the baby is born.  A breastfeeding support group is available and is held on an as-needed or requested basis.  The support group is free of charge and open to any WIC participant who is currently breastfeeding or pregnant.  Breastfeeding babies are welcome!

Eligibility:  Pregnant or breastfeeding women enrolled in WIC

NEW! - BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT GROUP

For all expecting & breastfeeding mothers.  This is a time to ask questions, get answers and support from other breastfeeding mothers.  A La Leche member will facilitate the group.  Babies are welcome!

2nd WEDNESDAY of the month, 9:30 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. - located at Lebanon Family Health Services (615 Cumberland St.)
