Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program

The FMNP occurs annually beginning June 1st and ending November 30th.  During these months, participants of WIC that are determined to be nutritionally at risk are provided vouchers to receive fresh fruits and vegetables from participating farmer’s markets (a list of the participating markets is also provided).  In addition to receiving the vouchers, participants are provided with nutritional education and counseling on the importance and use of fresh fruits and vegetables. 

Eligibility:  Pregnant, breastfeeding and post partum women and children who are currently enrolled in the WIC program.

Eligible clients enrolled in WIC can receive their fruit & vegetable vouchers at the

Lebanon Farmer’s Market

30 South 8th Street

 during the following dates & times:

Thursday, June 3rd from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Friday, June 4th from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 5th from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Individuals who may be eligible for vouchers are:  pregnant,  breastfeeding, postpartum females and children ages 2 through 5 (born before January 1st, 2008) enrolled in the WIC program.

WIC I.D. REQUIRED TO RECEIVE VOUCHERS

Limited amount of vouchers are available.  Checks are issued on a first come, first serve basis.
